Inspired by the Queen Elizabeth Park and forest, this unique dedicated multi-residential project is located on an important Cambie Corridor site facing the Cambie Heritage Boulevard. This transit-oriented proposal is a new expression of more affordable living in a number of respects. While establishing strong historical links to the context, the architectural expression is deliberate in its contemporary use of materials and form; The Oakridge neighborhoods along Cambie Street were some of the last to be developed and as a result, many examples of architecture influenced by the optimism of international modernism exist today. This optimism and excitement for the future of Vancouver are alive in the spirit of this design.
